Meet my tiniest creation yet. A miniature seal pup, no bigger than a pebble from the northern oceans. She’s tiny and fluffy, and looking for a home this season.
A lot of love and care went into this piece. She’s looking for a home friendly to magical and whimsical creatures like her.
Creation details:
This seal, like any of my creations, is made with stuffing so she’s nice and squishy, high quality faux fur (some of my softest!), and clay head and paws. Her eyes and other clay pieces have been meticulously hand painted with acrylic paints, before hand stitching her together. She is weighted to feel real when held. Many hours have gone into ensuring that she looks as realistic and cuddly as possible.
She is not poseable like some of my other sculptures (she does not have a wire armature inside her), and instead is just happy to sit in your hand or on a desk, or keep you company wherever you’d like to display her.
Care Instructions:
Poseable creatures are not meant to be childrens’ toys. Do not handle roughly or abuse the wire armature. They are very detailed and many parts are sculpted; rough handling or dropping can result in breakage. Although they are built very sturdily and meant to be held and posed, bending and re-positioning them hundreds of times could cause armature fatigue and breakage. Do NOT under any circumstances get them wet or wash them, as dyes can run and metal armeture can rust. If they become dusty, use a hairdryer on cool or compressed air to gently clean the fur. As with any artwork, avoid leaving directly in the sun for extended periods of time as this may lead to sun bleaching.
This is an original limited edition art piece for your collection. No molds or casts were used in her creation so she is the only one like her in the world.
This is an art piece and not a toy, due to her size she could break with rough handling or become a choking hazard for young children.
