Custom and Personalized Orders

I do occasionally take commissions. Please reach out if you are interested, and we can discuss details. I’m currently closed, but will open again in a few months. If you have a project you’re passionate about, email me and I can help work through details and timing of your dream piece.

Where can I find news on upcoming Creations?

My newsletter is the best place to start! Never miss a release and be up to date on all giveaways and special events. I only send out periodic newsletters with big events and shop releases, the kind of news you really don’t want to miss.

Success! You're on the list.

I am also active on Instagram and Facebook. You’ll find sneak peeks and upcoming creations on Instagram, as well as announcements for shop updates.

What’s an OOAK Doll?

OOAK stands for One Of A Kind. This means the doll is not mass produced. Its features and body are hand-sculpted, hand-painted, and hand-sewn. Many of these dolls do not have patterns or casted parts, and they are completely unique. When you buy one, you are acquiring a limited edition piece of art. There is only one like it in the entire world, and you are buying the time that it took to carefully craft it.

I am open to wholesale and consignment, and have flexible options for purchase size depending on the product type. I can also do consignment/display for larger and limited edition items. My prints, stickers, mushroom bookmarks, and smaller figurines all do well in curiosity shops, art shops, and bookstores. Email me to discuss if you are interested in partnering.

Can I make fan art of your leaf bat, hobgoblins, mushroom bookmarks etc?

First, I am SO flattered that you are inspired by my work. And if you’ve asked me in person, props to you! Chances are, if you ask an artist to practice using their art, they’ll say yes, because asking means you’re the honourable type. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I also recognize and celebrate that we all learn from the masters, and are inspired by those around us. I do not mind personal work made inspired by my work and if you decide to do this, or make something from one of my tutorials (you can find them on Patreon and YouTube), I ask that you please give inspiration credit to me (tag me, I love to see!), and this goes without saying: but do not sell these works.

Copying is unfortunately not harmless.

If you are an artist, and want to or are already selling items, you know the line between inspiration, and copying. In fact most people do, artist or not. I must say, as a creative pouring hours into my work to try and get food on the table, it really hurts when I see direct copies of an artist’s work passed off as their own. Especially when we’ve all been in that same place of “I wish I could make art just like so and so”. And when we finally find something that is uniquely ours, we are protective of it because we worked long and hard to get there! It’ll happen for you too!

I recommend playing with lots of mediums, explore styles, just have fun, and see where it takes you. You’ll never find something as wonderful as something that is wholely yours!

Thanks for coming to my TedTalk 🙂
